   when does it matter.........
         when someone cares
         when it a child

         you know there has been alot going on at 85 speedway latley, motor claims and motors not claimed, a lot of talk on here about the rules and how to
         play the game, we as adults dont always play fair. our childern get on here and read everything people say and they see things they dont under
         stand and its hard to teach our childern the right way when something was done that cant be explaned. thing like rules being changed for know reason
                 am not trying to hurt anyone but trying to under stand why or how to explane to a child why the rules have changed. this is where am at
         sat, night a car got blacked flaged and still got points. when i ask. i was told all the cars got points. to me it dont matter we are not racing for points
         if we was we wood show up every week. but to our kids they look every week at the points just to see.
                 if we change the rules for this why not say the rules matter.

Taylor was the only one who was BF and got points
well here we go ..... my understanding was the black flag shouldnt have been done and it was a racing deal she did not try to take anyone out  she went in to hard and is still learning how to controll the car when she goes on to hard and  does that.I WAS HAPPY WITH OR WITH OUT THE BF.WITH OR WITHOUT THE POINTS.
 we coach her ever night after she races we try to tell her what she did wrong and what she did right and i an very PROUD that she is even out there trying to learn
they are children in there learning stage i was told roger feels like none of them this year should be BF because none of them have ever raced before and are learning and have no what they are doing. all we can do is try to teach  and talk to them and guild them on how to race.
I was told since it was a racing deal she was given 3rd place.and since peanut didnt get to make it he was given 4th place.
and porky didnt you notice peanut also got points and he didnt race the feature. so im not understanding why you pointed out the bf and not that all the kids got point weather they raced or not. and just pointed out taylor
I as a parent here did not get up set or said anything about anything my kid got black flag i know she didnt do it on purpose she was excited and was tryin to race and tried to pass in a turn in which we have now told her not to try that again to pass in the straigh  and not in the corners untill she gets better  but i was very proud that the 93 car won and i told him he did a wonderful job and i to was very proud of him.93 came to the middle and was talking 100 miles a hour about his race how he was racing and what he did i told him sorry for taylor hitting him and he said it okey we are just having fun and he knew she didnt do it on purpose. that even makes me prouder because these kids are friends and understand that they want to have fun and still be frinds after the race and 93 i will say it again you done a great job and we are all proud of you.
so that no one feels like taylor got point's and was black flag  i will be calling the track today and im asking them to take them away from her.

I also was told the  2 BF saturday night were for saftey reasons  like the 93 he was so excited about racing  he almost went over the back so he was bf so he didnt get hurt not that he did anything bad just for safety and taylor went in to hard hit the 93 the bf was for a safety issue to let her know  slow down that was to hard.
maybe if they are gonna do things like that they show have a safety flag just for the kids let them know that in there race this flag means slow down and  caution the race and put the kid they were caution on the back and restart.

Like I suggested in our discussions last night, give the track a call to find out the reasoning behind it... I was told it was for safety. Now if a car is really blackflagged, I agree (my own opinion), there should be no points awarded, but I was told that the blackflag was used for safety reasons and not meant to disqualify. Finding out official word will do more to help the children understand what's going on rather than following our lead of creating animosity on the Internet. And official word can only come from someone who works at the track, not from someone who only volunteers their time to update the website; I can only relay what I was told, but I'm not the horse's mouth.

Great post mark thank you so very much... I also think they are all winners and great kids. it is wonderful for you to step up.
all the kids are champs in my books no matter where they finish.
I love seeing them out there and when they are finished the smile on there face makes it all worth it.
I have always told all the kids after each race how great they are and how proud i am of all of them no matter where they finish
 points or no points

why are they racing for points if they are all winners.and they are all winners they don't need to be getting points.the only points they should be getting is from there parants on the rights and wrongs on that nite race.and to the kiddos after that run nite of racing you need to thank the right people for letting y'all have the cars your in there alots of little girls and boys out there would love to have a chance to get in one.      am not crying about tayler never have, its just kids look at the point and see others getting point while they no when a black flag been given you lose points for the night its always been that way for as long as i can remember. now you and i know that theres no one can pass taylor in the points race. and from what you are saying about a safty flag is great, but you cant teach someone to race and tell them a blag flag mean you did not get dqed. and if you notice i was at taylors car to see if she needed help before the amain. am not mad about our car and i dont feel like we should get points or anything becouse we did not make the a main.

     i do thing this group of kids are great and are have the time of there lifes, and we need to teach them the right things to do on and off the track. and we have rules and rule books to go by. if you and i both think there should be a safty flag lets get the drivers togeather and vote one in dont use the black flag and till them its a safty call. eather do it right or dont do it.

Black flags mean get off you have a safety issue and or  DQDED rough driving. i could care less.if she lost points or not if she was DQDed the so be it  she shouldnt get points and if  she was BF for safety issues then so be it.can some one tell me if you are BF for a safety issue do you lose your points or do you get points from where you leave the track? i dont know that answer can some one help me.

my grand baby is having the time of her life i told her we should just pull her out and try next year she asked me not to because this is her dream to be a race car driver.

 but i do not agree with bringing a kid issue weather it be point dqded or black flag to the internet to hurt them in anyway, I feel they are doing the best they can and are learning and they all will be great drivers in time and i would never ever bring a kid issue to the fourms i would call the track  and or parent of that child and work it out. simply because they are kids and it is the parent place to explain it and show them what is right and wrong not the public.
 once it is on a public fourm that you have a issue you know as well as i do the public can be nasty and they dont care it is a child.


If im not mistaken don't they also BF other classes  for safety and dqding.
I have seen the BF a car for smoking, parts hanging off. flat tire ect.
and they got points from the spot they left the track at?
